Election: 2010, Up date attorney general

Eric T. Schneiderman by a larger margin than expected beat out four of his five opponents .

Kathleen Rice,  district attorney,  Nassau County,  came in the closest with 44 percent vs 26 percent, 135,000 vs 80,000 revealed in the NYC Board of Elections NY Daily News  Scribd document  reporter Celeste Katz linked to her column.

Adam Clayton did exceptionally well despite the advantages of the incumbent Rep. Charles B. Rangel, and would have won on a one-on-one race. Certainly there is still one more chance for Powell.

Bill Perkins trounced his opponent Basil Smikle, 76 percent vs 23 percent compromised a bit before the election voting to lift the cap on the charter schools in the State, later endorsed by   the New York Charter Parents Associaton.
