Election 2010: Tim Kennedy 58th Senate district

September 22, 2010

Edwin Martinez, President Hispanic Alliance of Buffalo

Timothy Kennedy the Democratic Legislator from South Buffalo didn’t miss the Puerto Rican Day Parade  two weeks ago as Edwin Martinez, President of the Hispanic Alliance escorted him up and down Niagara Street as they passed out literature to the hundreds of spectators.

Kennedy  has proven himself a vote-getter and money-maker, raking it in as he moves to become the next  Senator of the 58th Senate District, having trounced State Sen. William T. Stachowski, in last week’s Democratic primary election, managing to keep the Conservative Party line reported in the Buffalo News on Tuesday.

In retrospect, it’s a good political change for city residents to have someone in its own turf to represent the 58th Senate District.

If you want to meet the  Senator to be and have not gone to the Frank Lloyd Wright Davidson House at 57 Tillinghast Place, Wednesday, September 29, 2010, from 6 to 8 PM , drop-in,  for  cocktails and hors d’oeuvre. Click photo for more details.

And why pass up an opportunity to chat with the blogging Goddess with seven blogs and a newspaper on-line, the title is well-deserved. Oh, did I forget to mention 52 videos on YouTube with nearly 3000 views?
