Election 2010: Is Erie County Carl’s country? yes!

October 26, 2010

Republican  Carl Paladino  leads in the polls  48 to 29 in Erie County in the race for governor in a recent Goldhaber Research Associates survey of 476 likely voters.  Some say  he is the  “hometown boy” others say  Paladino mirrors the anti-Albany sentiment most of them share in Erie County.

In heavy Democratic Buffalo, he is ahead in the polls 38 to 33 percent and in the suburbs 53 to 27 percent. The survey didn’t mention the  ethnic break down of the  likely voters it polled or gender. For example, how many African-Americans and Latinos likely voters in the poll?

Paladino ahead among Latino voters in an earlier survey as reported in this blog.
