A bitter sweet win for Grisanti

December 1, 2010

Back in 2008, he was the new kid on the political block taking on a popular incumbent Senator Antoine Thompson, but yesterday Buffalo lawyer Mark Grisanti running a campaign as a Democrat-turned-Republican won the 60th  State Senate District election.

At his first news conference yesterday the senator-elect  plans to put the priorities of the Western New York Region over partisan politics though he’ll caucus with the GOP.

His top priorities are, ” enacting the UB 2020 plan, strengthening the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, cutting state spending and working for new and tougher ethics regulations in the Senate as his top priorities.”
