Killing of Osama bin laden to prolong American involvement world-wide

May 11, 2011

President Barack Hussein Obama decision to  kill  bin Laden liken to  Nixon during the Vietnam War in a reader comment on the transcript after  the interview “three days after he announced that American troops had killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan” when he talked with “60 Minutes” correspondent Steve Kroft in the Roosevelt Room of the White House  “Obama on bin Laden: the full “60 Minutes”  in the 60 Minutes Overtime website.

“I predict that the manner Obama has handled the Osama affair will like Nixon in Vietnam needlessly prolong American involvement worldwide for decades to come. Now that the United States officially states and advertises that guerrillas will be shot on sight rather than surrender they will fight even more so to the death against an enemy who has no word no honor no law no respect excepting modern expediency opportunity and convenience.”
